Excellent book, a must for car aficionados
Great book great pictures
Bought it for my dad for Christmas. He is a big time car guy. He says it was the best car book I have bought him so far (and I have bought him many car books).
I love DK books like this one...well set out, packed with interesting photographs and history, easy to pick up and just read a page or two or equally lose yourself in it for an hour or so. It's so comprehensive that it will take a while to read and is perfect as a 'coffee table' book.From pre-car days and its invention, to driving in the future, concept cars and cars where a driver isn't needed which we're almost at, despite technical blips!It features inspiring routes from around the world such as the Big Sur Highway, Lombard Street in San Francisco, Oresund Bridge, Sweden, Glow Worm Tunnel and Great Beach Drive in Australia with lots of colour pics and maps.
